Sugar Baby Restaurant Etiquette
Maybe you are the type of Sugar BAby who has been to high end restaurants, frequently, and possibly you have never been closer than a wistful glimpse. Even if you have actually been to a lot of high end locations, a fast evaluation of dining establishment rules is worth looking at. You want to be able to reveal your Sugar Daddy or potential Sugar Daddy that you are a stylish female worthwhile of his attention and time.
What to Wear
Much like any other date, sometimes it is more challenging to figure out what to wear than anything else or at least it is for me – I am the type of woman who can stand in front of a closet chock full of clothing and state that I have nothing to wear! If you’re the type wherejeans and a charming top are your usual go-to attire, it’s worth thinking about altering your style to be a little more dressy, depending on where you are going.
If you are new to sugar dating, you should take a close, hard look at your wardrobe. What does your wardrobe say about you right now? Consider exactly what you want your clothing to communicate to your Sugar Daddy or prospective Sugar Daddy. While I don’t want to say everything hinges on your choice of clothing, consider them as the wrapping paper on the gift (that would YOU). Your outside should reflect your inner qualities. Your appearance needs to let him understand that you are a sweet Sugar Baby worth spoiling.
If you don’t currently have the funds for updating your closet, yet, you can consult some buddies to see if you can borrow something cute from one of them or perhaps have a look at consignment shops (still among my favorite tricks to finding clothing that look expensive for bargain prices!). Spend a bit of time searching for where you are going to be and let that help direct you to deciding what you put on for that night. A basic cocktail dress and cute heels are traditional and will be suitable for a lot of settings, specifically for a 4 or 5 star restaurant. There is nothing worse than a sophisticated dress used with old beat up flip flops – save those for running errands or the beach! Now, if it is an upscale restaurant but not super fancy, you could probably get away with a charming blouse or sweater paired with dressy trousers or a skirt. You absolutely wish to leave the following things in your closet: anything that reveals your stomach, very short skirts, anything denim, sweatshirts, tennis shoes, and graphic t-shirts.
You want to, also, ensure that your hair and makeup are understated and support your clothing. Hold off on the smoky eye or heavy liner for another time. In my experiences, I’ve found that many Sugar Daddies prefer a more natural appearance on their Sugar Babies. Think of more natural looking foundation, if you require it – otherwise stick to some concealer and a light clean powder, easy eye makeup, subtle liner, mascara, and lipstick. Avoid too much contouring, highlighting, or shimmer. While a trashy look may not get you tossed out of a dining establishment, the staff isn’t likely to treat you with real respect, and they can be ill-mannered in lots of subtle ways.
Bear in mind that accessories are a great way to add a little pizazz to your outfit. Again, you don’t want to go too far, but one or two pieces of subtle fashion jewelry and a little bag or clutch that matches your outfit will be perfect. You just have to bring the bare minimum items with you. A young Sugar Baby shouldnever be without her phone, but it is essential to make sure that it is on silent or turned off during your date. You shouldn’tbe spending your time texting your friends, on Facebook, or Instagramingyour meal. You need to let your date see exactly what a sophisticated treasure you are and stimulate his mind with discussion. Let him understand that your full attention is on him and that he is your top priority.
It is probably obvious that the standard dining guidelines that you discovered before apply here: napkin on your lap, take small bites, avoidchewing with your mouth open, and be polite to the wait staff. While it is perfectly appropriate to consume a bit of alcohol on any date, be careful to never get intoxicated! Inhibitions frequently go out the window, however, you want to remain in full control of yourself. Plus getting sloppy intoxicated is bad form at a nice restaurant. Even if you are the kind of Sugar Baby who feels she is in full control of herself even when drunk, it is important to bear in mind that getting intoxicated on a date can be a major turn off to a Sugar Daddy or possible Sugar Daddy. Keep in mind, you want to radiate class and grace on your dates. If you are the type of woman who gets drunk on a date, your Sugar Daddy may think that you are not a lady worthwhile of a lavish way of life and that you do not take these kind of relationships seriously. Keep the heavy drinking for a night out with the girls, or nix it from your life entirely.
Feel free to buy a meal that you really desire (whether it is steak or a salad). Try not to fret about avoiding the most expensive meal on the menu (if there are even costs on the menu) – remember he asked you on this date, so he is paying. If he’s worrying about what you’re ordering, he doesn’t have the blunt to be a legit Sugar Daddy.
Leaving the Restaurant
While lots of individuals might have sex on the first date, I highly suggest avoiding this with sugar dating. If it is a first date, you should use the time to get to know each other and let him understand that you are a sophisticated Sugar Baby who doesn’t simply hook up with anybody. Until you have a formal arrangement, you don’t owe a POT SD any special treatment. If you’re being pressured to leave with him for sex or to come up to his room for “just drinks,” he’s probably a sleaze bag looking for a quick hook-up and thinks he’s entitled to it for merely providing a meal. This notion should be rejected, and unless you really think you can make a mutually beneficial arrangement work with this POT Sugar Daddy, you should probably keep looking.
